No conflicts. Build issue in drivers/net/ethernet/sfc/ptp.c 54fccfdd7c66 ("sfc: efx_default_channel_type APIs can be static") 49e6123c65da ("net: sfc: fix memory leak due to ptp channel") https://lore.kernel.org/all/20220510130556.52598fe2@canb.auug.org.au/ Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>
2022-04-12sfc: efx_default_channel_type APIs can be staticMartin Habets
This means we can remove them from efx_channel.h and avoid naming conflicts later. efx_channel_dummy_op_void() cannot be static as it is used in ef100_nic.c. Signed-off-by: Martin Habets <habetsm.xilinx@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>
2020-09-11sfc: cleanups around efx_alloc_channelEdward Cree
The old_channel argument is never used, so remove it. The function is only called from elsewhere in efx_channels.c, so make it static and remove the declaration from the header file. Signed-off-by: Edward Cree <ecree@solarflare.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2020-07-02sfc: move modparam 'rss_cpus' out of common channel codeEdward Cree
Instead of exposing this old module parameter on the new driver (thus having to keep it forever after for compatibility), let's confine it to the old one; if we find later that we need the feature, we ought to support it properly, with ethtool set-channels. 2020-07-02sfc: move modparam 'interrupt_mode' out of common channel codeEdward Cree
EF100 only supports MSI-X, so there's no need for the new driver to expose this old module parameter. Since it's now visible to the linker, we have to rename it internally to efx_interrupt_mode to avoid symbol collisions in non-modular builds. 2020-01-08sfc: add new headers in preparation for code splitAlex Maftei (amaftei)
New headers contain prototypes of functions that will be common between ef10 and upcoming driver. Removed static modifier from the affected functions. Some function prototypes were removed from existing headers. Signed-off-by: Alexandru-Mihai Maftei <amaftei@solarflare.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
