When path manager entries are deleted from the local address list, they
are first unlinked from the address list using list_del_rcu(). The
entries must not be freed until after the RCU grace period, but the
existing code immediately frees the entry.
Use kfree_rcu_mightsleep() and adjust sk_omem_alloc in open code instead
of using the sock_kfree_s() helper. This code path is only called in a
netlink handler, so the "might sleep" function is preferable to adding
a rarely-used rcu_head member to struct mptcp_pm_addr_entry.

This patch defines the original in-kernel netlink path manager as a
new struct mptcp_pm_ops named "mptcp_pm_kernel", and register it in
mptcp_pm_kernel_register(). And define the userspace path manager as
a new struct mptcp_pm_ops named "mptcp_pm_userspace", and register it
in mptcp_pm_init().
To ensure that there's always a valid path manager available, the default
path manager "mptcp_pm_kernel" will be skipped in mptcp_pm_unregister().

When destroying an MPTCP socket, some userspace PM specific code was
called from mptcp_destroy_common() in protocol.c. That feels wrong, and
it is the only case.
Instead, the core now calls mptcp_pm_destroy() from pm.c which is now in
charge of cleaning the announced addresses list, and ask the different
PMs to do extra cleaning if needed, e.g. the userspace PM, if used, will
clean the local addresses list.
While at it, the userspace PM specific helper has been prefixed with
'mptcp_userspace_pm_' like the other ones.
No behavioural changes intended.

specific to this PM: it is used by both the in-kernel and userspace PMs.

The following code in mptcp_userspace_pm_get_local_id() that assigns "skc"
to "new_entry" is not allowed in BPF if we use the same code to implement
the get_local_id() interface of a BFP path manager:

new_entry.addr = *skc;
new_entry.addr.id = 0;
new_entry.flags = MPTCP_PM_ADDR_FLAG_IMPLICIT;
To solve the issue, this patch moves this assignment to "new_entry" forward
to mptcp_pm_get_local_id(), and then passing "new_entry" as a parameter to
both mptcp_pm_nl_get_local_id() and mptcp_userspace_pm_get_local_id().
No behavioural changes intended.

Instead of using sock_kmalloc() to allocate an address
entry "e" and then immediately duplicate the input "entry"
to it, the newly added sock_kmemdup() helper can be used in
mptcp_userspace_pm_append_new_local_addr() to simplify the code.
More importantly, the code "*e = *entry;" that assigns "entry"
to "e" is not easy to implemented in BPF if we use the same code
to implement an append_new_local_addr() helper of a BFP path
manager. This patch avoids this type of memory assignment
operation.

In mptcp_event_add_subflow(), mptcp_event_pm_listener() and
mptcp_nl_find_ssk(), 'issk' has already been got through inet_sk().
No need to use inet6_sk() to get 'ipv6_pinfo' again, just use
issk->pinet6 instead. This patch also drops these 'ipv6_pinfo'
variables.

The variable 'match' in mptcp_userspace_pm_append_new_local_addr() is a
redundant one, and this patch drops it.
No need to define 'match' as 'struct mptcp_pm_addr_entry *' type. In this
function, it's only used to check whether it's NULL. It can be defined as
a Boolean one.
Also other variables 'addr_match' and 'id_match' make 'match' a redundant
one, which can be replaced by directly checking 'addr_match && id_match'.

This patch updates the interfaces set_flags to reduce repetitive
code, adds a new parameter 'local' for them.
The local address is parsed in public helper mptcp_pm_nl_set_flags_doit(),
then pass it to mptcp_pm_nl_set_flags() and mptcp_userspace_pm_set_flags().

Generally, in the path manager interfaces, the local address is defined
as an mptcp_pm_addr_entry type address, while the remote address is
defined as an mptcp_addr_info type one:
(struct mptcp_pm_addr_entry *local, struct mptcp_addr_info *remote)
But the set_flags() interface uses two mptcp_pm_addr_entry type
parameters.
This patch changes the second one to mptcp_addr_info type and use helper
mptcp_pm_parse_addr() to parse it instead of using mptcp_pm_parse_entry().

The first parameter 'skb' in mptcp_pm_nl_set_flags() is only used to
obtained the network namespace, which can also be obtained through the
second parameters 'info' by using genl_info_net() helper.
This patch drops these useless parameters 'skb' in all three set_flags()
interfaces.

The netlink messages are sent both in mptcp_pm_nl_get_addr() and
mptcp_userspace_pm_get_addr(), this makes the code somewhat repetitive.
This is because the netlink PM and userspace PM use different locks to
protect the address entry that needs to be sent via the netlink message.
The former uses rcu read lock, and the latter uses msk->pm.lock.
The current get_addr() flow looks like this:
lock();
entry = get_entry();
send_nlmsg(entry);
unlock();
After holding the lock, get the entry from the list, send the entry, and
finally release the lock.
This patch changes the process by getting the entry while holding the lock,
then making a copy of the entry so that the lock can be released. Finally,
the copy of the entry is sent without locking:
lock();
entry = get_entry();
*copy = *entry;
unlock();
send_nlmsg(copy);
This way we can reuse the send_nlmsg() code in get_addr() interfaces
between the netlink PM and userspace PM. They only need to implement their
own get_addr() interfaces to hold the different locks, get the entry from
the different lists, then release the locks.

The address id is parsed both in mptcp_pm_nl_get_addr() and
mptcp_userspace_pm_get_addr(), this makes the code somewhat repetitive.
So this patch adds a new parameter 'id' for all get_addr() interfaces.
The address id is only parsed in mptcp_pm_nl_get_addr_doit(), then pass

Instead of only returning a text message with GENL_SET_ERR_MSG(),
NL_SET_ERR_MSG_ATTR() can help the userspace developers by also
reporting which attribute is faulty.
When the error is specific to an attribute, NL_SET_ERR_MSG_ATTR() is now
used. The error messages have not been modified in this commit.

mptcp_pm_parse_entry() will check if the given attribute is defined. If
not, it will return a generic error: "missing address info".
It might then not be clear for the userspace developer which attribute
is missing, especially when the command takes multiple addresses.
By using GENL_REQ_ATTR_CHECK(), the userspace will get a hint about
which attribute is missing, making thing clearer. Note that this is what
was already done for most of the other MPTCP NL commands, this patch
simply adds the missing ones.

A more general way to check if MPTCP_PM_ATTR_* exists in 'info'
is to use GENL_REQ_ATTR_CHECK(info, MPTCP_PM_ATTR_*) instead of
directly reading info->attrs[MPTCP_PM_ATTR_*] and then checking
if it's NULL.
So this patch uses GENL_REQ_ATTR_CHECK() for userspace PM in
mptcp_pm_nl_announce_doit(), mptcp_pm_nl_remove_doit(),
mptcp_pm_nl_subflow_create_doit(), mptcp_pm_nl_subflow_destroy_doit()
and mptcp_userspace_pm_get_sock().

Some error messages were:
- too generic: "missing input", "invalid request"
- not precise enough: "limit greater than maximum" but what's the max?
- missing: subflow not found, or connect error.
This can be easily improved by being more precise, or adding new error
messages.

Some errors reported by the userspace PM were vague: "this or that is
invalid".
It is easier for the userspace to know which part is wrong, instead of
having to guess that.
While at it, in mptcp_userspace_pm_set_flags() move the parsing after
the check linked to the local attribute.

Since its introduction in commit 892f396c8e68 ("mptcp: netlink: issue
MP_PRIO signals from userspace PMs"), it was mandatory to specify the
remote address, because of the 'if (rem->addr.family == AF_UNSPEC)'
check done later one.
In theory, this attribute can be optional, but it sounds better to be
precise to avoid sending the MP_PRIO on the wrong subflow, e.g. if there
are multiple subflows attached to the same local ID. This can be relaxed
later on if there is a need to act on multiple subflows with one
command.
For the moment, the check to see if attr_rem is NULL can be removed,
because mptcp_pm_parse_entry() will do this check as well, no need to do
that differently here.

The only use of 'info' parameter of userspace_pm_remove_id_zero_address()
is to set an error message into it.
Plus, this helper will only fail when it cannot find any subflows with a
local address ID 0.
This patch drops this parameter and sets the error message where this
function is called in mptcp_pm_nl_remove_doit().

Commit 1c670b39cec7 ("mptcp: change local addr type of subflow_destroy")
introduced a bug in mptcp_pm_nl_subflow_destroy_doit().
ipv6_addr_set_v4mapped() should be called to set the remote ipv4 address
'addr_r.addr.s_addr' to the remote ipv6 address 'addr_r.addr6', not
'addr_l.addr.addr6', which is the local ipv6 address.

Upon successful return, mptcp_pm_parse_addr() returns 0. There is no need
to set "err = 0" after this. So after mptcp_nl_find_ssk() returns, just
need to set "err = -ESRCH", then release and free msk socket if it returns
NULL.
Also, no need to define the variable "subflow" in subflow_destroy(), use
mptcp_subflow_ctx(ssk) directly.
This patch doesn't change the behaviour of the code, just refactoring.

mptcp_pm_remove_addrs() actually only deletes one address, which does
not match its name. This patch renames it to mptcp_pm_remove_addr_entry()
and changes the parameter "rm_list" to "entry".
With the help of mptcp_pm_remove_addr_entry(), it's no longer necessary to
move the entry to be deleted to free_list and then traverse the list to
delete the entry, which is not allowed in BPF. The entry can be directly
deleted through list_del_rcu() and sock_kfree_s() now.

Since mptcp_pm_remove_addrs() is only called from the userspace PM, this
patch moves it into pm_userspace.c.
For this, lookup_subflow_by_saddr() and remove_anno_list_by_saddr()
helpers need to be exported in protocol.h. Also add "mptcp_" prefix for
these helpers.
Here, mptcp_pm_remove_addrs() is not changed to a static function because
it will be used in BPF Path Manager.
This patch doesn't change the behaviour of the code, just refactoring.

Each userspace pm netlink function uses nla_get_u32() to get the msk
token value, then pass it to mptcp_token_get_sock() to get the msk.
Finally check whether userspace PM is selected on this msk. It makes
sense to wrap them into a helper, named mptcp_userspace_pm_get_sock(),
to do this.
This patch doesn't change the behaviour of the code, just refactoring.

Similar to mptcp_for_each_subflow() macro, this patch adds a new macro
mptcp_for_each_userspace_pm_addr() for userspace PM to iterate over the
address entries on the local address list userspace_pm_local_addr_list
of the mptcp socket.
This patch doesn't change the behaviour of the code, just refactoring.

Like __lookup_addr() helper in pm_netlink.c, a new helper
mptcp_userspace_pm_lookup_addr() is also defined in pm_userspace.c.
It looks up the corresponding mptcp_pm_addr_entry address in
userspace_pm_local_addr_list through the passed "addr" parameter
and returns the found address entry.
This helper can be used in mptcp_userspace_pm_delete_local_addr(),
mptcp_userspace_pm_set_flags(), mptcp_userspace_pm_get_local_id()
and mptcp_userspace_pm_is_backup() to simplify the code.
Please note that with this change now list_for_each_entry() is used in
mptcp_userspace_pm_append_new_local_addr(), not list_for_each_entry_safe(),
but that's OK to do so because mptcp_userspace_pm_lookup_addr() only
returns an entry from the list, the list hasn't been modified here.

When traversing userspace_pm_local_addr_list and deleting an entry from
it in mptcp_pm_nl_remove_doit(), msk->pm.lock should be held.
This patch holds this lock before mptcp_userspace_pm_lookup_addr_by_id()
and releases it after list_move() in mptcp_pm_nl_remove_doit().

Just like in-kernel pm, when userspace pm does set_flags, it needs to send
out MP_PRIO signal, and also modify the flags of the corresponding address
entry in the local address list. This patch implements the missing logic.
Traverse all address entries on userspace_pm_local_addr_list to find the
local address entry, if bkup is true, set the flags of this entry with
FLAG_BACKUP, otherwise, clear FLAG_BACKUP.

The local address entries on userspace_pm_local_addr_list are allocated
by sock_kmalloc().
It's then required to use sock_kfree_s() instead of kfree() to free
these entries in order to adjust the allocated size on the sk side.

__mptcp_subflow_connect() is currently called from the path-managers,
which have all the required information to create subflows. No need to
call the PM again to re-iterate over the list of entries with RCU lock
to get more info.
Instead, it is possible to pass a mptcp_pm_addr_entry structure, instead
of a mptcp_addr_info one. The former contains the ifindex and the flags
that are required when creating the new subflow.
This is a partial revert of commit ee285257a9c1 ("mptcp: drop flags and
ifindex arguments").
While at it, the local ID can also be set if it is known and 0, to avoid
having to set it in the 'rebuild_header' hook, which will cause a new
iteration of the endpoint entries.

There was a support for signal endpoints, but only when the endpoint's
flag was changed during a connection. If an endpoint with the signal and
backup was already present, the MP_JOIN reply was not containing the
backup flag as expected.
That's confusing to have this inconsistent behaviour. On the other hand,
the infrastructure to set the backup flag in the SYN + ACK + MP_JOIN was
already there, it was just never set before. Now when requesting the
local ID from the path-manager, the backup status is also requested.
Note that when the userspace PM is used, the backup flag can be set if
the local address was already used before with a backup flag, e.g. if
the address was announced with the 'backup' flag, or a subflow was
created with the 'backup' flag.

Nothing from protocol.h depends on mptcp_pm_gen.h, only code from
pm_netlink.c and pm_userspace.c depends on it.
So this include can be moved where it is needed to avoid a "unused
includes" warning.

messages with GENL_SET_ERR_MSG or NL_SET_ERR_MSG_ATTR both for pm_netlink.c
and pm_userspace.c. It will help the userspace to identify the issue.

This patch implements mptcp_userspace_pm_get_addr() to get an address
from userspace pm address list according the given 'token' and 'id'.
Use nla_get_u32() to get the u32 value of 'token', then pass it to
mptcp_token_get_sock() to get the msk. Pass 'msk' and 'id' to the helper
mptcp_userspace_pm_lookup_addr_by_id() to get the address entry. Put
this entry to userspace using mptcp_pm_nl_put_entry_info().

Just like MPTCP_PM_ADDR_FLAG_SIGNAL flag is checked in userspace PM
announce mptcp_pm_nl_announce_doit(), PM flags should be checked in
mptcp_pm_nl_subflow_create_doit() too.
If MPTCP_PM_ADDR_FLAG_SUBFLOW flag is not set, there's no flags field
in the output of dump_addr. This looks a bit strange:
id 10 flags 10.0.3.2
This patch uses mptcp_pm_parse_entry() instead of mptcp_pm_parse_addr()
to get the PM flags of the entry and check it. MPTCP_PM_ADDR_FLAG_SIGNAL
flag shouldn't be set here, and if MPTCP_PM_ADDR_FLAG_SUBFLOW flag is
missing from the netlink attribute, always set this flag.

This patch implements mptcp_userspace_pm_dump_addr() to dump addresses
from userspace pm address list. Use mptcp_token_get_sock() to get the
msk from the given token, if userspace PM is enabled in it, traverse
each address entry in address list, put every entry to userspace using
mptcp_pm_nl_put_entry_msg().

Address family of server side mismatches with that of client side, like
in "userspace pm add & remove address" test:
userspace_pm_add_addr $ns1 10.0.2.1 10
userspace_pm_rm_sf $ns1 "::ffff:10.0.2.1" $SUB_ESTABLISHED
That's because on the server side, the family is set to AF_INET6 and the
v4 address is mapped in a v6 one.
This patch fixes this issue. In mptcp_pm_nl_subflow_destroy_doit(), before
checking local address family with remote address family, map an IPv4
address to an IPv6 address if the pair is a v4-mapped address.

The local address id is accessed lockless by the NL PM, add
all the required ONCE annotation. There is a caveat: the local
id can be initialized late in the subflow life-cycle, and its
validity is controlled by the local_id_valid flag.
Remove such flag and encode the validity in the local_id field
itself with negative value before initialization. That allows
accessing the field consistently with a single read operation.

When userspace PM requires to create an ID 0 subflow in "userspace pm
create id 0 subflow" test like this:
userspace_pm_add_sf $ns2 10.0.3.2 0
An ID 1 subflow, in fact, is created.
Since in mptcp_pm_nl_append_new_local_addr(), 'id 0' will be treated as
no ID is set by userspace, and will allocate a new ID immediately:

MPTCP_PM_MAX_ADDR_ID + 1,

To solve this issue, a new parameter needs_id is added for
mptcp_userspace_pm_append_new_local_addr() to distinguish between
whether userspace PM has set an ID 0 or whether userspace PM has
not set any address.
needs_id is true in mptcp_userspace_pm_get_local_id(), but false in
mptcp_pm_nl_announce_doit() and mptcp_pm_nl_subflow_create_doit().

Before adding a new entry in mptcp_userspace_pm_get_local_id(), it's
better to check whether this address is already in userspace pm local
address list. If it's in the list, no need to add a new entry, just
return it's address ID and use this address.
